Relocation Spain
Spain is a parliamentary monarchy whose constitution is the most recent in Europe. Founded in 1978, the country has evolved a lot since this date. The Royal family lives in Madrid, the capital.
Economy:
Since its adhesion to the European Community in 1986, Spain's economy has been strongly liberalized and modernized. Many Spanish companies then had the opportunity to establish themselves on an international level. The major part of its GDP is realized by tourism, communication, and information techniques.
Education:
School is mandatory for children aged between 6 and 16 but children also have the possibility to learn their first foreign language at the nursery school between 0 and 6.
Health:
When one has a health issue, he/she must first go to one of the country's medical centres who then transfer all their patients to the corresponding doctors. Medication in Spain is not reimbursed 100% by the health insurance funds. 40% of the bill must be paid directly by the patient.
Expatriates:
In most cases, expatriates choose to relocate either to Barcelona or Madrid. As the demand on the real estate market is quite high, we will support your expatriate to find an accommodation which corresponds to his needs and budget. In Spain, one must be very reactive to find adequate housing.
Rent price trends in Paris and Berlin
Rent prices in both European cities have increased by an average of around 7% in the last 12 months. However, this increase hardly reveals anything about the actual rental market situation as the trends in the capitals of both neighbouring countries could not be more different.
